Melanie Blinco

Melanie Blinco is AP Manager and Property Accountant for Highline Storage Partners, LLC. Prior to joining Highline, Melanie held accounting positions where she used her abilities and talents in helping European start-up companies as they established themselves in the United States. In particular, she was a valuable member of the start-up committee for IKEA Atlanta. Melanie also has broad experience in public utilities, including electric power utilities in Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi where she was chosen to serve on the decommissioning team responsible for managing the power plant's transition from a coal plant to a combined cycle plant. In recent years, Melanie has been very active in community volunteerism with special interests in renewal of our rivers and sustainability.

Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Capella University and is currently working on a master’s degree. Melanie is a former member of the Airborne Military Police, United States Army. She serves on the board of her local VFW, holds several competition certificates in tactical shooting, is an avid scuba diver and enjoys water activities. Melanie is divorced and has 5 children, 7 grandchildren and 2 more grandchildren on the way. She shares her home with a Bichon Frise who answers to the name Bear!
