Brian Barker

 Brian Barker is the Construction Project Manager for Highline Storage Partners, LLC (HSP).  Brian’s primary responsibilities include managing construction of new ground-up projects, conversion of existing structures to self-storage facilities, additions to existing properties, and upgrades of acquisitions in order to meet HSP standards and customer expectations.  Brian ensures that HSP’s Core Values and Principles are reflected in all properties by coordinating with the acquisition, marketing, and operations teams in order to implement a consistent and coherent strategy.

  Prior to joining HSP, Brian was a project manager for Level5, Inc., a design build firm specializing in the construction of financial institutions.  Having worked closely with architects and clients, Brian developed a keen eye for details that improve the customer experience and maximize the use of space for functionality and branding.  Brian was involved in multiple aspects of the business including land acquisition/due diligence, design, estimating, subcontractor selection, and construction management.  Prior to entering the construction industry, Brian worked in the environmental field for Parsons Corporation and KEMRON.  During this time Brian served as a project manager and field team leader on site inspections, remedial investigations, and removal actions for unexploded ordnance (UXO) at active military installations and formerly used defense sites. 

 

Brian holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and obtained his Professional Engineer license in Environmental Engineering.  Brian has been married for 11 years and has two wonderful daughters.
