Joyita Basu

As an accounting manager at HSP, Joyita holds a key position within the organization overseeing financial operations and ensuring their accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment. She is responsible for producing timely and accurate financial reports, managing budgets and forecasts, and supervising a team of accounting professionals. She also oversees regulatory compliance, internal controls, and financial analysis, helping senior management make informed decisions. She maintains effective communication with stakeholders identifying and mitigating financial risks. She contributes to the development and execution of financial strategies whilst implementing process improvements.

Prior to joining HSP, she worked as Financial Operations Manager at a reputed telecommunication company for the last 7 years in the Middle East where she led a team managing financial operations for wholesale and retail telecommunication business. She was responsible for producing financial statements and statutory reports to comply with regulatory authorities as well as management reports to summarize and evaluate financial performance. She also worked as an external auditor at an audit firm for 2 years prior to joining the telecom industry.

Joyita holds a B.Sc degree in finance from Oxford Brookes University. She is a qualified professional accountant accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK.

Joyita has avidly travelled to several countries in Europe, Africa and Asia. Outside of HSP, she is a food and fitness enthusiast who enjoys traveling, wine-tasting and swimming.
