Liz Emmett

Liz Emmett is the Director of Training and Development at Highline Storage Partners. Liz’s primary responsibilities involve creating and improving policies and procedures, and implementing the training strategy and structure. Liz supports, coaches, and leads team members with projects and ongoing interactions between properties, area managers, district managers, and other departments. She also conducts the onboarding and training of new team members, performs HR-related duties, and assists the acquisition department by conducting Due Diligence audits for the operations team prior to the purchase of an investment.

Prior to joining Highline Storage Partners in 2022, Liz had 16 years of self-storage experience at Absolute Storage Management, Inc. Liz held several positions including assistant site manager, property manager, general manager, regional manager, and regional director. During this time, she excelled in her skills of leadership, coaching, and problem-solving and directed her teams in the positive growth of over 45 assets simultaneously.

Liz is a Georgia native and studied nursing before finding her passion for all things storage.  She has been married to her husband, Philip, for 16 years and has a home full of bulldogs. Liz also likes working in her yard growing her plants and flowers and enjoys going to the beach.
