Parker Rice is the Property Accountant at Highline Storage Partners, LLC (HSP). Parker’s primary responsibilities include the accounting oversight, analysis, and financial reporting of the portfolio of assets owned and operated by HSP. He plays a dynamic role in ensuring timely and accurate reporting and brings his diverse background in audit, accounting, and tax to the HSP accounting team.
Prior to joining HSP, Parker worked as the Accounting Controller for the American Taekwondo Association (don’t ask him how he ended up there). His primary responsibilities were to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations to ensure accurate financial reporting. He focused on areas such as cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue, and the general ledger, and helped streamline those areas and processes. Prior to this role, Parker also served as an Internal Auditor at a large bank, an External Auditor at a midsized public accounting institution, and a Tax Accountant at a small tax and accounting office. Parker’s diverse accounting background brings insight and a fresh perspective to the accounting function at HSP.
Outside of work Parker enjoys spending time on the golf course, both competitively and recreationally. He enjoys venturing to new parts of the country he hasn’t seen before, eating, and cooking new dishes, and hopes to play a round of golf in Scotland one day. Parker holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Arkansas and an M.B.A from the University of Central Arkansas.
