Sarah Sears is the Vice President of Human Resources and People Strategy at Highline Storage Partners, bringing over 13 years of experience in building high-performing teams and cultivating a culture of collaboration within the retail industry. A dynamic and purposeful HR leader, she specializes in talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development – driving initiatives that elevate both workforce performance and business success.
Before joining Highline, Sarah spent 8 years at Dollar General, where she held multiple leadership roles within Human Resources. As Senior HR Manager, she led HR strategy creation and implementation for pOpshelf and the Field Facility Maintenance teams, significantly improving the employee experience and contributing to the company’s growth. She also spearheaded the company’s talent management and engagement strategies as Senior Manager of Organizational Development and served as Senior HR Business Partner to the Field leadership teams that spanned across the Southeast.
Sarah began her career in retail operations at Target, where she held progressive leadership roles over 6 years. She holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama and earned the scholar-athlete award as a Division 1 volleyball player.
Sarah resides in Trussville, AL and enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys.
