Wilson Covington is the Vice President of Storage Operations for Highline Storage Partners, LLC (HSP).  Wilson’s primary responsibilities include the creation, implementation, oversight and management of facility operation processes and procedures and operational strategy.  Wilson also plays an active role in acquisitions and construction projects aiding in due diligence, preparation of operating and capital expenditure budgets and managing the execution of improvement and business plans on newly acquired assets.

Prior to joining HSP, Wilson was an independent storage consultant and held management positions at self storage management companies including Universal Storage Group and Childress Klein Properties (SpaceMax Storage).  Wilson played a critical leadership role in developing Childress Klein’s proprietary storage brand SpaceMax from the ground up, including the creation of operating processes and procedures, technology implementation, staff recruitment and training, developing asset-level performance metrics and ensuring that operations were concurrent with company branding strategy.  During his career in self storage Wilson has overseen the management of development of over 18,000 units comprised of over 2 million square feet of facilitates in 6 states.  Wilson has served as a board member on the Georgia Self Storage Association, is a licensed real estate agent in Georgia.

Wilson holds a BA in Biology from Furman University where he was a member of the Rugby team.  He has been married 10 years, has 2 children and is an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Atlanta.
